Pre-takeoff checklist
Is anyone else having trouble updating the garmin database? It is giving me hell. Cant update the SD card on the web or through the app on my desktop. It just keep "downloading" for hours and nothing happens.

Tried that and everything else. Ended up calling support. 20 mins of wait time then the support remoted into my desktop and did his thing and we're good to go. Used to be a 2 minute process in the past.

Beechtalk has a thread on this, generally the fix is format the card, uninstall/install the application, and calling Garmin, or a combination of all 3.

He remoted in and honestly clicked on a bunch of things that I did not really watch. He was in the settings page.

Just did mine today, Ahmad (14 days late). I had to ddo the Garmin update mamger, first....but it wen smoothly. It's problaby one of those many many "windows setting" things that we only figure out when we stumble into it.....
