Hello,
I am just looking for some guidance. I just graduated college with my degree and am excited to start flight school. I did not realize that it may be a problem that my parents put me in a treatment facility in my high school career seeing I was making bad decisions. It was a a great way to set me on the right path but now it may stop me from reaching my goals. I went through the program and that was five years ago. I do not drink alcohol nor do I use any recreational drugs and have not for five years. My degree ironically enough was to counsel other teens that were struggling with mental health or substance-abuse issues. I worked hard at my undergrad to receive an excellent GPA and now I’m wondering if I will be disqualified and what I will have to do to be able to pursue my dream of flying. Any advice or words of hope would be greatly appreciated.
