You may have noticed a new AD for a wing spar inspection for Piper late model models. The next one to come out is going to require wing spar replacement on Piper aircraft with more than 12,000 hours.
 
It's AD 2024-10-4. I got it from AdLog. It looks pretty unnecessary, waiting for an assessment from my IA.

affected models pa-28-181, pa28R-201 pa-34-220T, pa-44-180. SB 1413 regarding rear spar attach bolt hole some one double drilled
 
For the Arrow III that looks like a fairly narrow range of serial numbers affected: 2844182 thru 2844185

FYI: the AD references the same aircraft serial number list from the SB. So they both should apply or not.
 
Got it, thanks. I was looking at a summary of the SB, not the actual SB, rookie mistake.
