I have been smitten with the flying bug since I was 16. As I have gone through life, I've been around some form of aviation either through general aviation through friends, or the US Navy as a Navy wife. I lost my mom and aunt to cancer, and I am a melanoma survivor. I've been given another chance, and I believe that this is just one of many opportunities I can take to make a difference by giving back to others. The aviation community is unique because the people that I have met in it are some of the most giving, exciting people I've had to blessing to get to know.
