I thought one of the requirements, to fly in Canada, is a valid medical certificate. As far as I know, Canada does not recognize BM as a valid medical certificate. It is up to Canada to determine what the requirements are to pilot aircraft in their airspace.

After 4 mos of UDS/normal HIMS protocol my HIMS AME recommended issue. It took three months for issue of class 3 SI from the point of sending that report with the recommendation. This was in the summer/fall of 2023.

I know the family well. He practiced with a friend of mine in BR and his younger brother and father are referrals to my practice. Tragic loss. :(

^^^ Same here. I have both- the performance plus version of FF and basic GP to be able to use concierge/connext to wirelessly update DB's on Garmin avionics.

I can’t imagine any better than ForeFlight for capabilities and responsiveness of the development team to suggestions/new features. I tried Garmin Pilot, which is fine also, but only use it now for DB updates via flightstream. Downside is those two are a bit pricier than other options.
