I started my aviation career instructing out of Midway Airport in 1987. Later I was hired as a 135 Cargo Pilot, flying nightly canceled checks in various types of challenging weather. I then transitioned as the company’s Chief Flight Instructor. After two years of “hauling checks” in a T-210 and Aztec, I spent two years flying for Continental Express as a First Office in the EMB-120 Brasilia. After this I became a Chief Pilot/Director of Operations for a local 135 Operator. After taking some time off to build a Home Inspection business (and make a real wage), I got back into flying a couple of years ago. I try to use my past aviation experience to help my students become the safest, most proficient and professional pilots they can be. Recently I became a FAA FAASTeam Representative.
