I flew from 1979 until 1987. My airplane was a '73 Piper Cherokee 180, 4814 Tango. I sold her to my partners when I moved to Seattle in 1986. I rented once there and once again when I came to Hermiston in 1991. I had a bad experience with a rental here and vowed to not fly again until I again owned my own. Unfortunately, that never happened.
I am retired from a 40+ year career in insurance. I live a quarter mile north of Hermiston airport. One of the reasons for buying our home was that I could one day have a taxi-way and hanger across the road from my house. I still love flying and watching the airplanes come and go.
