Former Air Force, I got my PPL in 1975, CFII/MEI by 1977. After the Air Force I spent 17 years with Texas Instruments, Inc. in Austin, then 12 years with Samsung Austin Semiconductor. Basically I’m an engineering and computer systems design guy with military avionics and flight simulation background.
I have always taught flying part time, with one six-year full time gig at KAUS. I’ve been a little inactive the past few years, but getting ready to get back into instructing again. Been recently flying out of Breakaway Airpark, 40XS; a private, grass airstrip in Cedar Park, Texas.
