When does a leaseback make sense?

If you are looking to run your numbers I made a spreadsheet for it when considering a leaseback of my (former) Warrior. It does both the 80/20 model and the fixed fee model. https://planeviz.com/airplane-leaseback-calculator/

When does a leaseback make sense?

Leaseback calculator I made this spreadsheet to experiment with leaseback viability. Plug in your own numbers to see how it'll work out financially. Being a spreadsheet it requires a desktop or tablet to see the whole thing. As others have said, you need pretty high utilization to make it work.

    CFI Long Island?

I'm back in the saddle and it's time for my flight review then on to IPC. Any recommendations for a CFI (preferably CFII) in the area? Would be in my own airplane (PA-28). Thanks!

    Does this stuff never stop.

Worth pondering from the founder of Lavabit. "This experience has taught me one very important lesson: without congressional action or a strong judicial precedent, I would _strongly_ recommend against anyone trusting their private data to a company with physical ties to the United States."
